North East

Fiona works in the North East most Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays and for constituency weeks when she travels around the region and is based in her constituency office in Durham.

Strasbourg

The Parliament’s official home is Strasbourg in France. The Parliament goes to Strasbourg for about one week every month.

Brussels

Fiona's European Office is based in Brussels, in Belgium.

Parliamentary Committees weeks - Fiona is on the Industry, Energy and Research (ITRE) Commitee and the Development Commitee (DEVE)

Mini plenary week - the European Parliament meets in full session in Brussels.

Group week - as a UK Liberal Democrat Fiona is part of the ALDE group – the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats in Europe.

The UK Lib Dems (LDEPP) also meet regularly.

International

Fiona works as an election observer and her role on the Development Commitee requires some international work.
